How to research 'passed research'
Hey guys

How do I research 'passed' research, or avoid having it in the first place?

Thanks.

Once you research all the way through a tech tree, it'll roll back over to the beginning and all the techs you skipped the first time will show up. As of the latest patch, they now cost 5x to research compared to the first pass.

You can't, that's the way it's designed Tongue
Though one of the racials (highly focused scientests I think) reduces the number of things available to research at a time, so you won't miss as many on a pass.

Damn Smile So how do I know how much time I have before a certain research becomes 'passed'?

When you research something in a category (say, astrophysics), all of the green tech in that category turns to yellow, all the yellow tech turns to red, and the red tech becomes "passed".
